First Baptist Church offers adults opportunities for worship, ministry, discipleship, evangelism, and fellowship.  Adults of all ages and backgrounds can find a place in a variety of groups based around specific interests and life situations.

Sunday Morning Bible Study Groups

Adults can choose to participate in a Bible study group for individuals or married couples.  In either case, God’s Word is taught in a practical, relevant manner that makes a difference in people’s lives. This is a place to meet new friends, fellowship, discover God’s purpose for your life, and minister to others.

Wednesday Evening Bible Study Groups

Wednesday evening Bible Study groups for adults take place at 6:30 pm. These Bible Study groups are topical in nature and are designed to meet the practical needs of adults.

Women’s Ministry

Fellowship and ministry events for women are scheduled on a monthly basis.  Recent have included a fashion show, an organization workshop, and a regional conference entitled Women Reaching Women.

Men’s Ministry

A monthly breakfast for men is the centerpiece of the FBC Men’s Ministry.  In addition, Men’s Ministry participants have recently participated in construction and renovation projects at our mission congregation, New Hope Baptist Church.

Single’s Ministry

Single adults may choose to participate in Sunday morning Bible Study Groups geared specifically to their unique needs.  Special events for singles are organized each month through these Bible Study Groups.

Joy Club

Senior Adults at FBC Marion meet for a potluck luncheon on the third Thursday of each month.  Seniors have also enjoyed sightseeing trips and participation in Senior Adult events sponsored by Tri-Count Baptist Association and the Arkansas Baptist State Convention.
