Haiti- Pastors home

Recently, two FBC Marion deacons, Mark Dunavan and Jimmy Blackford, traveled with an Arkansas Baptist Convention Mission team to Haiti. The following is the report received by Mark Dunavan:

The medical team saw a total of 883 patients and had 106 salvations. We spent Friday at the Hatian National Hospital in horrible conditions. I (Mark) did 2 surgeries while there and the rest of the team ministered to other patients and families. The assessment team (Jimmy was on) was busy at churches and homes.

From Haiti Jimmy Blackford sent the attached picture of a leveled Pastor's home with this report:

This is a picture of a pastor's house in Haiti. His house is rubble. In this house he lost his wife and 12 others here. The wife is still buried with 6 of the others. The pastor still has immeasurable Faith. Pray for him and his congregation. The church building is very small and badly damaged, but still has 150 members.
