First Baptist Church is proud to sponsor the work of two mission congregations in the Marion community.

New Hope Baptist Church

New Hope Baptist Church is located in Lakeshore Estates, a mobile home community in Marion. Pastor John Rech and the members of New Hope have the opportunity to minister to the residents of Lakeshore Estates, offering “new hope” through a variety of creative ministry projects aimed at meeting physical, emotional, educational, and spiritual needs.

Iglesia Batista de Luz

Meeting each week on the campus of New Hope Baptist Church, pastor David Amaro and the members of Iglesia Batista de Luz reach out to the residents of our community for whom Spanish is a primary language. Soccer tournaments, English as a Second Language classes, and enthusiastic worship are some of the highlights of Iglesia Batista de Luz.
