NO WEDNESDAY SERVICE DURING SPRING BREAK WEEK!
Please take note that there will be NO Wednesday night service on March 25th during the week of Spring Break. All Wednesday Bible studies will resume the next week. Also, if you are going to be out of town, do not forget to drop off or mail in your tithes and offerings before you go out of town. The work of the Lord will continue while people are away.
Finally, pray for our group who will be away on the FBC ski trip. Pray for their safe travel and safe enjoyment of the mountain.
HOLY LAND TRIP IS AMAZING!
We have enjoyed a fantastic day here in the Holy Land visiting the place of Jesus' birth in Bethlehem, the place of His death at Golgotha, and the place of His resurrection at the empty tomb! I am always amazed at how God speaks to us as these sites and makes His Word come alive. Tuesday is our last day in the Holy Land. If you are on Facebook I want to invite you to go to my homepage and view the pictures and the videos I have uploaded. I want to ask all of you to pray for our group as we travel over 24 hours to be home on Wednesday night. We look forward to sharing with you the amazing details of this adventure.

ALL MORNING SERVICES CANCELLED! 6:00 PM SERVICE STILL ON!
After waiting several hours to make a decision and after a discussion with the Arkansas Highway Patrol, we are going to err on the side of caution and cancel all morning services at FBC Marion for Sunday, March 1, 2009. We will postpone baptism until March 8th and March 22nd. FAITH Evangelism at 4:00 pm will also be postponed tomorrow. WE WILL STILL HAVE OUR 6:00 PM WORSHIP SERVICE!! Please attend this service for worship, invite others, remember to bring your offering, and let's check on other church members during the bad weather.
We have also been told that up to 2 more inches of snow are expected in our area overnight. Troopers are reporting bridges being frozen all over our area, numerous wrecks throughout the county, and a fatality on I-55 just north of Marion.

GA Pancake Breakfast...SUCCESS!
The Girls in Action of FBC, Marion want to thank everyone who made the GA pancake breakfast such a huge success. The girls raised $2325.00 for the Arkansas Baptist Children's Homes.
The GA girls use this event each year as a mission fund-raiser to help the children at the Arkansas Baptist Children's Homes. The girls will be delivering this ministry gift to the children at the ABCH in person during March. Come out and help these girls learn the responsibility to ministering to other children who have needs.
CHILDREN'S MINISTRY DAY A SUCCESS!
G.A. Director Sheila Kirkley reports that the annual Children's Ministry Day this past Saturday, February 14th was a big success. Thank you to all the GA workers and health care workers who participated in this event. Thank you to everyone who came by in support of this event.

CHILDREN'S MINISTRY DAY COMES TO UPWARD THIS SATURDAY!
Children's Ministry Day 2009 gives kids an opportunity to minister to people by meeting healthcare needs using a variety of hands-on projects. As a part of Children's Ministry Day, the children of FBC Marion will be participating in a community health fair this Saturday from 9:00-2:00 pm in the GLC. We will have medical personnel on site to test blood sugar, take blood pressure, and pass out medical information on an as needed basis to participants. Children will also be passing out small health kits and making crafts and cards for local nursing home residents. All of this will be taking place simultaneously with Upward Basketball this Saturday.
