The new site: www.yourlifematters.info is now up and running!
To coordinate with the DVD project, a new website has been launched by FBC to help spread the gospel of Jesus Christ through the sharing of our Real people...Real stories...Real change DVD testimonies. The website is www.yourlifematters.info. The same content that is on the DVD is now also online. We want to encourage every member to share this link with others on their Facebook page, Twitter, or MySpace accounts so others might hear these stories. You can also embed some of the videos into your own sites as well.
Annual Sportsman's Dinner great success!
On Saturday night, March 27th, the Outdoor Ministry of FBC hosted its annual SPORTMAN'S DINNER featuring special guest Hank Hough of Kingdom Dog ministries. The event was a great success with those who attended. Hank Hough and his dog "Prophet" were amazing as the participants learned real life and Biblical truths through the obedience of a dog to its master. At least 10 people indicated on their response card that they prayed to receive Jesus for the very first time.

AMAZING FBC REVIVAL RESULTS!
The final revival worship service was held Wednesday night, but the results will last for eternity. During the week of Revival with Evangelist Phil Waldrep (www.philwaldrep.org), we saw 27 come for public profession of faith and baptism, 2 join FBC by letter, and one surrender to full-time Christian ministry. Additionally, there were many other important decisions made throughout the week.
The Children's ministry also experienced an amazing time with Shay Caldwell and Wacky Time Live. On Wednesday night alone there were 101 first through fifth graders present. During the week 6 have talked to an adult counselor about receiving Jesus as their Savior.
What a great week! Now we move back to our sermon series called "FREE TO LIVE" this Sunday. I hope everyone will be back in Sunday School and Worship at 9:00 am and 10:30 am.
Monday Revival Service Canceled
Due to winter weather conditions, our revival service is canceled for Monday, February 8. Currently, ice is accumulating in the church parking lot, and travel conditions to and from the church will become increasingly treacherous by this evening.
We will make a decision by 1:00 pm tomorrow about tomorrow evening's service. Please check fbcmarionark.org for the very latest weather-related schedule information.
We experienced an amazing beginning to our revival with evangelist Phil Waldrep yesterday in our two morning services as well as our afternoon service and football game fellowships. We continue praying for a movement of God in our midst during this time of revival.
REVIVAL BEGINS THIS SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 7th
Evangelist Phil Waldrep will be our special guest evangelist for our upcoming Revival on February 7-10 here at FBC, Marion. Phil is a nationally known and sought after evangelist who will challenge our lives. This is going to be a great week together as we seek to worship the Lord, hear from Him, and see lives changed. (www.philwaldrep.org)
The following is the Revival service schedule:
*Sunday: 9:00 am & 10:30 am worship service
*Sunday afternoon: 4:00 pm worship service (followed by BBQ supper and watching the BIG GAME in the fellowship hall- Students in the GLC)
* Monday-Wednesday: Supper at 5:15 pm. Revival Choir will meet at 6:00 pm. All services will begin at 6:30 pm each night.

New Sermon Series and Worship Emphasis started!
On Sunday, January 10 - March 14, 2010, Pastor Clay Hallmark began a new sermon series and worship emphasis called "FREE TO LIVE" based on the words of Jesus in John 10:10 where He said, "I have come that you might have life and you might have it more abundantly", and the Beattitudes of Jesus found in Sermon on the Mount recorded in Matthew 5. There was a great crowd and many people have already responded in some significant way.
You will not want to miss a Sunday during this important series. If you missed the first week, go to the WORSHIP MEDIA page on this site and subscribe to the iTunes podcast to hear the first message.
