Monday Revival Service Canceled
Due to winter weather conditions, our revival service is canceled for Monday, February 8. Currently, ice is accumulating in the church parking lot, and travel conditions to and from the church will become increasingly treacherous by this evening.
We will make a decision by 1:00 pm tomorrow about tomorrow evening's service. Please check fbcmarionark.org for the very latest weather-related schedule information.
We experienced an amazing beginning to our revival with evangelist Phil Waldrep yesterday in our two morning services as well as our afternoon service and football game fellowships. We continue praying for a movement of God in our midst during this time of revival.

On Sunday, January 10 - March 14, 2010, Pastor Clay Hallmark began a new sermon series and worship emphasis called "FREE TO LIVE" based on the words of Jesus in John 10:10 where He said, "I have come that you might have life and you might have it more abundantly", and the Beattitudes of Jesus found in Sermon on the Mount recorded in Matthew 5. There was a great crowd and many people have already responded in some significant way.

45 people pray to receive Jesus at "CHRISTMAS DELAYED"
The 2009 FBC Christmas production Christmas Delayed was a huge success this past December 5-7. The crowd was large at every performance of the show and many guests were present. Praise the Lord for the 45 people who prayed to receive Jesus as their Savior and Lord during the performances and for those who loved them enough to invite them or bring them. God blessed this musical like no other we have ever had at First Baptist Marion. Thank you to everyone who participated and contributed their time, talents, skills, money, or expertise to this production.
FBC and Hope House feed 150 Families!
First Baptist Church in partnership with Hope House and the Memphis Food Bank recently had the privilege of providing over a week's worth of groceries to 150 needy families from Marion and West Memphis. The food distribution took place on Thursday, November 19th. Volunteers from FBC, New Hope Baptist Mission, Hope House, and the Good Neighbor center helped load the cars of 150 needy families. The food distribution was such a success that the Memphis Food Bank is providing food for distribution at FBC again in December. The date is not yet determined.
More volunteers will be needed for the December distribution. If you are interested in volunteering, contact us at 739-3944 or at mary@fbcmarionark.org.
